When’s the last time you whole-heartedly celebrated an achievement in CrossFit? I’m talking about a victory roar when you hit a new PR or dominate a workout. A manic fist-pump and war cry that makes everyone around you take notice. All too often I see subdued celebrations—or none at all—from athletes in CrossFit. You might not think it’s all that important to celebrate the ‘smaller’ victories in your workouts, but in a training program where the body and mind takes a constant beating, taking a moment to reflect upon and celebrate an achievement can provide a positive boost.

What does celebrating achieve?
